The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X is a beast in our benchmark and gaming performance results but its price is also quite high vs. the Ryzen 9 3950X and Ryzen 9 5900X. But there are situations where the Ryzen 9 5950X is worth it, especially vs. the Intel i9-10900K and i9-10980XE for productivity and rendering. But with the 5950X availability problems, is it better to get the 5900X, 5800X or even 5600X for some situations? But that shouldn’t stop it from being at the top of which CPU is the best for gaming, rendering and video editing.
