Design
Even though it looks like a Nexus device, it is relatively compact with a clean, matte black design. The Shield Tablet is mostly made up of plastic and weighs no more than 388 grams and is only 9mm thick. With that being said, it is just as compact as any other 8 inch tablet available in the market.
