Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0: the Most Popular Saga of Android Tablets

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an 8-inch screen with 1280×800 pixel resolution, a dual-core processor at 1.5GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, expandable microSD memory and 3G and LTE versions, while running on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean. This one is an attractive tablet with an intermediate size, a great design, average performance and some software features already seen in the Samsung Galaxy S4. In short, it is a midrange tablet with a few standout features and specs.

The Samsung Galaxy A 8.0 has a suitable size and is lightweight (316 grams), making the tablet extremely portable. Moreover, the finish of the body is great and this is the reason the tablet looks visually appealing. Admittedly, this is a Samsung tablet and this means there are plastic stands on all sides. The tablet resembles a large, phone. This can be seen in the front. At the top, you can see a speaker. Yes, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 3G allows you to make calls, a feature which that seems strange and unnecessary. Next to the speaker, you can see the front camera and proximity sensor, that stand out as the tablet is white.
Below the volume buttons, you can find the infrared port for controlling your TV through the WatchON application. However, the position of the infrared port requires you to use the tablet horizontally (in fact it never gets WatchON vertical) even though the physical buttons tablet are designed for mainly vertical use.

At the top, you have the headphone jack, and at the bottom, the microUSB port for charging and connecting the tablet to a computer and two speakers for multimedia sound, which look great but lack somewhat in terms of audio quality. The camera is located at the back of the tablet, along with the Samsung logo. As mentioned earlier, the tablet is easy to hold and you can operate it with one hand without hassle.
