Samsung Notebook 9 Pen Review

It wouldn’t be wrong to claim that the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen is the lightest machine on the market – it only weighs 2.2-lbs! Plus, it comes with the popular S Pen. The notebook functions well but its quality and design may confuse tech enthusiasts.

The hardware design could be a result of Samsung’s splendid metallurgical techniques and technology. You will pick up the notebook and it will feel as if you’re holding something made from plastic, but it is not. The company has used something known as magnesium-aluminum alloy – known as Metal 12 to make the device lighter and durable.

It is not a fancy looking notebook, and that means Samsung has put all emphasis on the performance of the device rather than its aesthetic appeal. However, the company could be more mindful regarding the ports on the device. The device just has single, full-size 3.0 USB port, a USB-C port, an HDMI out, and a small slot for your microSD card. Moreover, the 13-inch, 1080p panel screen comes with vibrant colors that are quite impressive as it will allow you to work outdoors.

Samsung notebook also features 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor, a 256GB SSD, and 8GB RAM. The software is solid and it can handle working on multiple Chrome tabs, daily – prolonged Spotify sessions, and non-stop work on Photoshop without hindrance.

The machine can provide a pleasant gaming experience but don’t forget that it is not designed for gamers. Moreover, S Pen is a simple – silver pen with company’s logo but it works fine. You can use it on the screen to capture areas and can mold images into GIFs without any significant effort. You will get a smooth keyboard along with useful features for $1,399. Professionals or students can invest in the Samsung notebook as it is easy to carry and easily handles all your workload.
